This bike is an "Open Road" distributed by Montgomery Ward, probably in the early 70's
It's been tucked away in a garage most of it's life and looks pretty sharp for it's age.
It's been cleaned up and serviced and given a new set of the narrow 26 X 1 3/8 tires.

Comfortable spring seat and it has an upright seating position so you're not bending over...easier to observe traffic and enjoy the scenery also.
The rubber pedals feel good on your feet as opposed to most bikes made today with the cheaper black nylon pedals.
The fenders protect both your clothing and the bike from getting sprayed with muddy water, making it more ideal as a commuter bike.
Best suited for the height range of about 5'4" to 5'8"
Seat tube is 20" (50cm)
